Mary Mulvihill Award 2022
The 2022 Mary Mulvihill Award has been launched with the theme of water. This science media competition for third level students has a €2000 prize. Submission are due by 29 April 2022.
The award is open to many different formats, from essays to podcasts: the winning entry in 2019 was Laura K. Finnegan’s sampler of a children’s book about Irish scientists. More information can be found at marymulvihillaward.ie.
Mary Mulvihill (1959-2015), was a science communicator and founder of WITS. The award run by the Mary Mulvihill Association commemorates Mary’s life and work,
