Midlands Science seeks STEM role models

  • 15 September 2021

Midlands Science is keen to promote and profile female role models in STEM as part of its ongoing outreach work in the Midlands. The gender disparity in STEM fields has been widely recognised and we hope that by facilitating a greater visibility of the many opportunities in all facets of STEM, the inspirational women already working in these fields and promoting strong female role models will help to disrupt some of the negative stereotyping that still exists. The goal of Midlands Science is to inspire the creative-thinkers and STEM professionals of the future and this cannot be achieved without the continuing and invaluable support of our partners, science professionals and diverse mentors. We would be particularly interested in hearing from those who may like to be involved in being part of the promotion of Women in STEM in the Midlands region during national Science Week which takes place from 7th to 14th November 2021.

Please contact Midlands Science for further information and to take part.
