Women in Technology and Science Ireland (WITS) in partnership with MTU Blackrock Castle Observatory, are delighted to invite you to ‘Reach for the Stars’, an opportunity to connect, network and explore how we can drive gender equity in STEM. Proudly sponsored by Vision Contracting, an Irish construction services company.

Time: 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Where: The stunning Blackrock Castle, a 16th Century defence fortification now housing an observatory and science centre.
Professor Maggie Cusack, President of MTU, will deliver a keynote speech on ‘Reaching for the stars’ as we learn what shaped her career and who and what supported her to achieve her ambitions.
This will be followed by a fireside discussion with a panel who are passionate about promoting the role of women in STEM.
Opportunities to network with refreshments will be provided.
WITS Ireland is an independent, voluntary organisation supporting women in STEM. We connect, advocate for, and promote the role of women, providing a network through which we drive change and foster inclusion.
